Valentine's Day Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

My husband surprised us Valentine’s Day morning with these gorgeous flowers, a makeup palette I have been wanting for a while now, and a book my for my daughter. We read her Goodnight Moon every night, and there is a picture of Runaway Bunny on the back that she constantly points at. How sweet!

Two days ago, my sweet mother-in-law came over to visit for the day. She brought some gorgeous looking strawberries and melting chocolate. She asked if she could make us some Chocolate Dipped Strawberries for Valentines Day. I said yes, of course!

I later found out she would make these chocolate dipped strawberries every year for Valentine’s Day. My husband and his sister both shared fond memories of Valentines Day and these strawberries. It was so thoughtful and a tradition I hope to carry on for my family. It made me realize that with all the crazy day-to-day stuff going on, it’s these special memories that count.

My daughter enjoying her new book and a rose daddy brought her.

Below is the recipe for Chocolate Dipped Strawberries! You could make them extra fancy by adding a drizzle of white chocolate or some red and white sprinkles. Yum! These will be good for about 1-2 days in the fridge.

Let me know in the comments below if your family has any special Valentine’s Day traditions! <3
